The Missing Boy Have you heard about the case on the missing boy, Endary? It was the most famous case that opened when it was reported that he was missing for 3 days. It was said that he had disappeared from the world, leaving no traces and clues upon his disappearance. Let's investigate the crime scene together, shall we?

Block 259 is Singapore's only unique block of circular flats and is a distinctive landmark of Ang Mo Kio. It overlooks Bishan Park and Peirce Reservoir. Completing in 1981, it is intended to foster a sense of identity in each distinctive town and to establish a unique form of architecture. It is indeed a unique and special structure found in Singapore as it inculcates a strong sense of "Kampung" spirit that is fostered among the neighbours who have close relationships with each other. What's wrong with it right? Little did you know, this was actually the crime scene for a very famous incident of a missing boy, Endary. He was just walking to school when he suddenly went missing… It was suspect that he had went clubbing or was hanging out with his friends when we found out that none of them had seen him in school… Upon our realisation of his sudden vanish, we thoroughly searched through the premises to look for any suspicious clues, but to no avail, nothing...

Ang Mo Kio Public Library is a full-time branch library, one of the 26 public libraries established by the National Library Board of Singapore, located at the heart of Ang Mo Kio. As it is quite near to the home of the people, it offers a friendly and caring community space for the residents. Therefore, giving off a sense of homeliness and warmth. After several interrogations, we found out that after the dismissal of school, Endary being considerably studious student, would walk to the library to study. Hence, we went to investigate the premises of the library. We warranted off the area to ensure that no evidence was to be destroyed and continued with our thorough search. Sadly, nothing was found.

Jing Shan Primary School was set up,by a group of civic-minded villagers who felt that there was a need for a school in the locality to provide education to its young, in August 1944 and known as Chin San School (青山学校). It was a Chinese-medium school which was located at what is now known as Serangoon Gardens estate. Before the development of Serangoon Gardens estate, the village nested within Chin San Nei (青山内) or Chin San Li (青山裡) village, meaning Chin San Village or Chin San Garden, therefore the school was named after this village. Being Endary's school, it is definitely a must-search crime scene. Hence, we immediately started our search. We searched high and low for every area that was suspected to be a hiding spot- kidnapping spot. As we searched, we realised that there was always this janitor who is nearby. Located in the heart of Ang Mo Kio, Ang Mo Kio Hub is nestled at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 and Ave 8, it offers a friendly, caring community space – with a tagline that reflects the spirit of– “It's all about You”. AMK Hub being a famous place for leisure. We felt that it would be the most appropriate place for Endary to be in. We initially suspected that he went clubbing or hanging out with his friends till late at night hence not being able to be found, however we had contacted his friends and found out that none of them had seen him anywhere. In addition, having busy parents, they were unable to keep track of their son's location, hence only on the 3rd day of his disappearance did his parent's then reported of his absence from home. Upon our thorough search, we were unable to find any traces or clues that would lead us to Endary's last appearance or whereabouts. Hence, we decided to head back to our headquarters to revisit the given testimonials. ...

As we drove past Jing Shan Primary School, something caught my eyes. It was the dark and black window at the corner of the school. I was confused as I did not remember visiting and searching that part of the school. We were not lead to that part of the school as well. Hence, we decided to give Jing Shan Primary another visit. Upon our arrival to the school, we immediately headed to the suspicious black and eerie corner that we saw from the road. It was a music room. It was dark and empty. There was nothing but a cabinet and musical instruments in the room. Nothing was heard. As we walked towards the only cabinet in the music, our hearts started pounding. As we opened the doors to the cabinet, we saw a body lying there-motionless. It was Endary's Body!! We were appalled yet relieved at the sight of his motionless body. Is he alive?
